Gautama Buddha Short Biography
Gautama Buddha was born in the Lumbini forest on the way, 567 years before Christ, when Mahamaya Devi, the Empress of Kapilavastu was going to her Naihar Devadah.
Mahatma Buddha was the founder of Buddhism. His initial name was Siddhartha. At the age of 29, he left the house with the aim of searching for true knowledge. At the age of 35 attained true knowledge at a place called Gaya. Mahatma Buddha gave his first sermon at Sarnath. He traveled to various places in India for 45 years, sharing his knowledge among the people.
